How to Disable Blur on Sign-in Screen in Windows 11

If you’re running Microsoft’s Windows 11, you may have noticed the blur on your sign-in screen that obscures your username, password, and anything else you’re typing. The blur opacity can be adjusted in the display settings, but should you just go ahead and disable it altogether?

The sign-in page in Windows 11 uses blur effects to help you pay attention to your password and other login details. You’ll be able to see a backdrop image that has been blurred with acrylic to avoid distraction. The design is based on Microsoft’s Fluent Design concept, which is currently in use. Microsoft has adopted the previous model’s style, which has the same look and feels as of the year 2019.
