Where to find penny buns in Enshrouded
For almost 20 penny buns in a single field, head to Harvest Homestead, west of the Ancient Spire. This particularly good farming spot is in the Springlands, the starting region of Enshrouded.
The homestead isn’t your only option: every green hill around the Springlands’ Ancient Spire spawns penny buns. Keep your search to light forest areas. Unlike the much larger shroud mushrooms, penny buns don’t grow in enshrouded areas.
You’re looking for brown mushrooms with a small, button-shaped cap. Their small size can make them difficult to see among tall grass.
To make gathering easier, you can hide the foliage through the display settings:
- Open settings, then choose the “display” tab.
- Scroll down until you reach “small foliage.”
- Switch it off to hide the shrubbery.
The world looks less fancy without foliage, but you can spot penny buns from much farther away.
Penny buns go into various food recipes. Most importantly, they’re required for crafting health potions at the alchemist.
