Bring an axe when you go looking for shroud mushrooms in Enshrouded. Unlike the colorful button mushrooms found in ordinary forests, these crafting resources tower above the ground, so look up rather than searching at your feet.
Where to find shroud mushrooms in Enshrouded
You’ll only find shroud mushrooms within Revelwood’s enshrouded areas. To reach a relatively safe farming spot, head southeast from the region’s Ancient Spire: glide into the Shroud and land south of Gloomsbury Keep.

If enemies start to overwhelm you or your shroud time runs low, take the path southwest to get out. The map’s arrow marks that exit.
You’ll recognize shroud mushrooms by their oversized, otherwise ordinary mushroom shape. They typically have one to three stems in a cluster, with a soft green glow coming from beneath the caps.

Chop them down with an axe to gather five to 12 shroud mushroom pieces.
Crafting recipes that use these pieces include goo, alchemical base, and several armor pieces. They have no use as cooking ingredients, though: you can’t eat shroud mushrooms.
