Samsung’s global tour hit Indian seashore today. As a part of Global tour India sees the launch of flagship product and self-proclaimed ‘World’s most human phone’ from smartphone ruler Samsung called Samsung Galaxy S3. The pre-order began much earlier than the actual launch which happened just few hours back. However, Samsung dropped a biggest bomb when they revealed the price of the device—Rs. 43, 180 that is. Usually, Samsung tags industries most competitive price as they directly compete with Apple iPhone and other android manufacturer.
The Galaxy SIII packs in mammoth 1.4 GHz Quad core processor running on latest Android ICS OS. Samsung has packed in some of the muscular hardware and software features in Galaxy S3 which makes it one of the fastest device till date. Samsung unveiled Galaxy S3 to the world at the beginning of this month. Later some of the exclusive software product like Flipboard, S Voice APKs were leaked to the public. Now with the price bomb, it would be interesting to see whether they manage to meet their preset target or not. We wouldn’t be surprised if people cancel their pre-order after today’s lost. However, they are in endanger of loosing their money.
Regardless of all the hype surrounded Galaxy S3 product, it wouldn’t be exaggerated if I say that it’s industries top class product so far (let’s not discuss HTC One X right now). However, the leaked exclusive APKs and now price could trigger in huge fall in sell of the product. On the other hand XDA community developers have managed to get Galaxy S3 root access (guide here), so you are in for a treat.
For those who just came late to the party, here is a quick look at the Galaxy SIII specs sheet.
Samsung Galaxy S3 will come with 3GB free data for 2 month exclusively to Vodafone customers, but considering the price tag it will be interesting to whether it will be a hit or miss.
Contrary to its high price tag, it is available at much lesser price on leading shopping store flipkart and buytheprice (around 38k+). Those who are seriously thinking to buy Samsung Galaxy S3 from India should immediately grab it from above stores before price goes up. Even eBay is selling it at Rs. 42,500 price so it would be a wise choice to buy it from online shopping stores.
Are you going to buy Galaxy S3 in India considering it costs legs and arm? Or you’ll wait for Galaxy S4 to come up with much competitive price.
