This error generally occurs due to missing or corrupted system or application files. The most common cause of this error is the problems with NVIDIA drivers and the other video cards that get burnt or have issues. One of the most common reasons for this error to occur is the incompatibility between the 32-bit applications and the 64-bit with your system.
Though this being a very common reason, it is not the only reason for the error to pop up as it can suddenly start showing when you try to run an old program like Skype or others that you were previously using.
Given below are ways to fix this error. You could get your business in order through just one of them but sometimes you might need more.

Usually, the issue stands with the application and can be simply solved by reinstalling it. This works for a lot of people, but not all. Here’s how you do it –
Step – 1: Delete the application by right-clicking on it or from your App Library.
Step – 2: Go to your App store or if you added an external application to the folder where the APK is and download it from its respective origin. That should make it work.
Windows Updates have patches that will solve many errors and issues. This usually works for those who have switched the automatic update feature off.
Step – 1: Start by pressing “ Windows + I to open Windows Settings” and go to “Update and Security”.
Step – 2: There click “Check for Updates”.
Step – 3: The system will then detect the missing update and install it on your computer.
Step – 4: Once the installation is finished, restart the computer and check if your problems are solved.
It is a simple spell, but quite unbreakable. More often than not, restarting your computer is the trick you need up your sleeves.
A lot of times hard drive issues can cause this problem. You could just check it out and make sure by running the CHDSK scan which resolves the hard drive related issues.

Running as an Administrator gives the Application/Game a better chance to open with more liberty to operate with.
Step – 1: Right-click on the .exe file to open the menu.
Step – 2: Click on “Run as Administrator”.
Some issues can simply be solved by running the Game/Application in the Compatibility Mode. This usually works for when your certain application is compatible with let’s say Windows 8 but you are using Windows 10. Then using this trick to solve the issue is the way to go.
Step – 1: Go to the Application and right-click on it.
Step – 2: Click on “Priorities” and then follow it with “Compatibility”.
Step – 3: In the compatibility tab, click on the “Run this Program in Compatibility Mode For” dropdown followed by “Windows Vista” or any other version of Windows.
Step – 4: Click ” Apply ” at the bottom of the tab, then ”OK”.
Step – 5: Check to see if the issue is still persistent.
Although it seems like a tough name, this method is pretty simple. If none of the previous methods solve your problem, try reinstalling Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable.
Step – 1: Right-click on the Windows key and select “Control Panel”.
Step – 2: Go to the “Programs and Features” section then remove all Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable items and files.
Step – 3: Go to the official Microsoft website and manually install Visual C++ Redistributable items and files.
This method is a bit complex but gives optimal reports in resolving Error 0xc00007b. The method includes replacing a file called xinput1_3.dll inside the C drive.
Step – 1: From google, Download dll xinput1_3.dll from DLLME.
Step – 2: Extract these files using a compression tool, usually, Winrar is used.
Step – 3: Copy the xinput1_3.dll file from the extracted folder and paste it into “C:\ Windows \ SysWOW64”. The screen will be prompted for replacement, click on “Copy and Replace” and there you go.
