How to Use AutomateIt Automation App

Here we will show you how to set a custom rule with AutomateIt on your Android phone.

Step 1: Open the app and then click on the Add rule button.

Step 2: Now click on the trigger tab and then select the time trigger from the list.

Step 3: Now, you have to set parameters for the task. In this case, we are going to set a new rule to disable WiFi automatically in the afternoon hours. So we have to provide time and tell if the rule should be checked every day.

Step 4: Scroll down in the action tab and click on Set WiFi State Action

Step 5: Next, we have to set an action when the condition is satisfied. In our case, we have to disable off WiFi. So set choose WiFi Disabled and instruct your phone to disable it.

Step 6: You have to give a custom name for your rule. You can also set a delay if you want to.

Step 7: At the end, click on save, and it’s done. The new rule is automatically enabled by default.

You also have to create a similar rule to enable WiFi automatically in the night or morning, whenever you require. So follow the same steps and provide a time when you want to start the WiFi automatically but this time, turn on Enable option in the 5th step.

How to Delete Any Rule in AutomateIt

If you want to delete any rule, then follow these steps:

Step 1: Go to my rules section on the app.

Step 2: Now, tap on the rule that you want to delete and click on the Delete icon.

Step 3: It now shows you the warning that “are you sure you want to delete a rule?” click on Yes.
