Microsoft has added a new color filter tool that will help all color blindness users. This new tool is very easy to use and comes with new features.

The new color filter tool is not just for playing but the tool is very useful. Windows 11 also comes with the same tool but Windows 11 combines all these new tools in the Accessibility settings.

How to Enable and Use Color Filters on Windows 11

In this article, we are going to share how you can access and set up a new color filter tool on your Windows 11. Here are the steps:

Step 1: Open Windows 11 settings option with Windows + I button on your keyboard.

Step 2: In Windows 11 settings, search for Accessibility. You can also click on Accessibility settings in the left sidebar of the settings menu.

Step 3: Select Color filters under Vision in the Accessibility setting.

Step 4: Here you can select your favorite color filter using the Color filter preview. The new Color filter will reflect automatically.

Step 5: If you want to enable that particular color filter on your Windows 11 then, click the toggle next to ‘Color filters’ to turn it ‘ON’.

Step 6: The new Windows 11 has 6 color filters that include deuteranopia, tritanopia, protanopia, achromatopia, greyscale inverted and inverted.

You can select color filter individually but clicking the radio button in front of the option.

When you select it, the color will automatically select and apply to your system.

Enable Color Filters in Windows 11 using Quick Settings

Step 1: Open Quick Settings using the volume or network icon in the taskbar.

Step 2: Alternatively, you can press Win + A.

Step 3: Click the Accessibility and then turn on the Color filters toggle.
