So in this tutorial, I will walk you through multiple ways to permanently delete your Temu account.

Delete a Temu account permanently

In this guide, I will walk you through two ways to delete your Temu account permanently:

• Using a Temu website
• Using Temu Mobile app

The only reason for sharing two methods is that you can have a choice and convenience. So, let’s start this guide with the first method

Method 1: Delete a Temu account using their website

The best part of using the method is that it does not restrict you from using specific hardware, as you can follow the shown steps to any computer or mobile equipped with hardware.

Note: If you are following this on the smartphone, make sure to enable the desktop site for Temu.

First, visit the homepage of Temu and log in with your user account (if not already logged in). Once done, click on the Orders & Account:

Scroll down and find an option for Account security, once found, click on it:

After getting into the Account Security section, scroll till the end of the section and there will be an option listed at the end labeled “Delete your Temu account”:

Once you click on the “Delete your Temu account” option, it will ask you to verify two things:

• Make sure you don’t have any incomplete orders, as once you delete your account, you’ll have no way to track them.
• Use any available coupons and credits before deleting your account, as they won’t be available once you delete your account.

After reading the prompt, check the I want to permanently delete my Temu account and all its data as shown here and hit the Continue button:

Next, it will ask you to choose why you are deleting your Temu account. If you don’t want to choose from any, then you can simply choose the last one, stating “I don’t want to provide a reason”:

Temu will tell you about how they respect your privacy and data security. To continue, click on the Continue deleting button:

If you are using Temu’s official mobile app, then you can delete your Temu account using that app itself. All you have to do is follow the given instructions, and you are good to go.

First, open your Temu app and click on the You button and then click on the gear icon to open the settings:

Once you open the settings, find the option for the Account security mostly located at the top of the settings prompt and tap on that option to proceed further:

In the Account Security section, scroll till the end of the section, and at the end click on the option labeled as Delete your Temu account:

It will open a prompt that warns you about what happens when you delete your Temu account. Here’s a summary:

• Your data including images, files, used/unused coupons, and credits will be deleted permanently.
• Make sure there are no pending orders, as once you delete your account, there’ll be no way you can access them later.

Once you read the prompt, check the box that says, “I want to permanently delete my Temu account and all its data” and hit the continue button:

In the next step, it will ask you to choose the reason why you want to delete your account. Here, I went with the last option, as I didn’t want to provide any reason for my action:

After providing them with the reason, Temu explains how they protect your privacy. To proceed further with deleting your Temu account permanently, press the Countinue deleting button:

Next, it will ask you to verify the use by either the mail or by entering the password of your account. I find the second method quick, but you can choose any of your preferred ones:

Once done, it will show you a message saying your request to delete your Temu account permanently has been submitted successfully but if you choose to undo this, simply log back in and your account will be revived instantly:
