Surprisingly, Pokémon Go has launched a “World Space Week 2026” event running from Oct. 4-10. This event is fairly straightforward, offering no additional bonuses apart from a Timed Research set and a chance to catch Pikachu dressed in an adorable astronaut suit.
How to find astronaut Pikachu in Pokémon Go
You can snag astronaut Pikachu in two ways during this event:
- Defeat astronaut Pikachu in one-star raids and catch it after winning.
- Complete the event Timed Research to encounter astronaut Pikachu.
That’s all there is to it. It’s unclear if this special suited-up Pikachu will return in the future, so make sure to participate in as many raids as possible if you want to add it to your collection. After all, astronaut Pikachu can be shiny.
