McDonald’s Pokémon Happy Meals arrive on November 10 with 15 collectible toys shaped like miniature Happy Meal boxes. Each meal also comes with a couple of Pokémon trading cards.
The toy lineup includes Eevee and Squirtle, just two examples from the full collection. Each toy has a clip on the back that could let you attach it to a lanyard or bag instead of leaving it on a shelf.
The Happy Meal packaging has its own set of three designs: Pikachu, Torchic, and Umbreon. These box options are separate from the 15-toy lineup.
Nerdist’s writer reports receiving all the toys and cards in cute, stackable boxes and describes the contents as equally adorable. The writer also suggests using the toys as bookshelf or desk collectibles and plans to display their own that way. If clipping a tiny Pokémon-themed Happy Meal box to your bag isn’t your thing, standing one beside your monitor is another option.
The source doesn’t say exactly how long the promotion will run, so there’s no confirmed end date to plan a full-set hunt around. For more information and a look at the collectible trading cards, visit the official Pokémon announcement.
