KPop Demon Hunters is moving from Netflix to more than 700 pages of full-color comics. KPop Demon Hunters: The Official Screen Comic Boxed Set adapts the complete film across two paperback volumes. It’s a scene-by-scene retelling, not a new story or comic-book sequel.
The animated film about a demon-hunting musical trio arrived in June 2025. Nerdist describes it as Netflix’s most-watched movie ever and an Academy Award winner, with its success and appeal to children and adults helping drive a wave of merchandise and a greenlit sequel. That next film is expected in 2029; this set returns to the story already available on Netflix.
Physical extras set the screen comic apart from another rewatch. Alongside images from the film, it includes lyrics from the full soundtrack. The complete contents are:
The complete film in over 700 pages of full-color comics; song lyrics from the full soundtrack, including Hunter’s Mantra and Jinu’s Lament; a holographic foil slipcase; two paperback volumes with French flaps; two unique foil-stamped book covers; a unified spine design showing Rumi’s two sides; and two foldout posters of HUNTR/X and the Saja Boys.
Nerdist’s exclusive preview, with imagery credited to Penguin Random House/Netflix, gives readers a closer look at familiar scenes on the page. The first three preview pages begin with Mira and Zoey relaxing on a couch in robes. Rumi interrupts their downtime with news: she has announced the next single, promotion starts almost immediately, and she already has their outfits ready. The preview spread from pages 112–113 offers a look inside the adaptation.
The next batch of three preview pages focuses on the Saja Boys’ irresistible appeal, with another spread showing pages 184–185. Nerdist praises the artwork for preserving the film’s colorful, magical character and suggests flipping through the comic while watching the movie on Netflix.
The boxed set is available to purchase for $60. Nerdist discloses that its purchase links are affiliate links, meaning it may earn advertising money from a purchase at no extra cost to the buyer.
