Apple reportedly intends to launch new iPad Pro and MacBook Pro models early next year

In early 2027, Apple is set to unveil a series of new devices, including refreshed iPad Pro models and an entry-level MacBook Pro. Credible sources indicate that the tech giant plans to launch four new tablet versions, each equipped with faster processors.

A report from Bloomberg outlines the development of the new MacBook Pro, codenamed K104. This model is expected to serve as an entry-level option, coinciding with the debut of Apple’s first M7 processor.

The last iPad Pro was launched in October 2025. Earlier this year, Apple introduced a premium MacBook Pro that showcased the new M5 Pro and M5 Max chips, along with a more affordable MacBook Neo. Unlike the Pro models, the Neo uses the A18 chip, initially designed for iPhones, creating a clear distinction between entry-level and professional devices. The new MacBook Pro is anticipated to fully embrace the Pro branding with enhanced features.

In addition to the upcoming releases, speculation is mounting about a potential foldable phone. This aligns with Apple’s evolving strategy under Tim Cook’s leadership, especially as the company navigates ongoing supply chain challenges that have driven up prices for multiple products. For instance, the price of the MacBook Pro with 1 terabyte of storage has surged from $1,699 to $1,999.

Apple should roll out budget-friendly laptops and tablets to address the price surge that has pushed MacBook Pro costs from $1,699 to $1,999. The company’s ability to balance premium products with economical options could redefine its market position.

Beginners should start with the MacBook Neo. Developers should choose the premium MacBook Pro. Power users will prefer the new MacBook Pro with the M7 processor.
