Arc Raiders: Taking Stock Quest Walkthrough

Complete Taking Stock in Arc Raiders with our quest walkthrough covering photo objectives, enemy pings, and where to find three industrial batteries.

Finding three industrial batteries is the main hurdle in Taking Stock. Polygon’s Ford James reports that this final delivery gives players more trouble than the two photo objectives because the batteries can be elusive when you need them.

Taking Stock quest steps

In Arc Raiders, Taking Stock has five objectives, but completing four is enough: you can choose between the two enemy-ping tasks. Here’s the checklist:

  • Photograph the sculpture in the Atrium on Stella Montis.
  • Photograph a Baron Husk on Spaceport.
  • Complete either of these objectives:
    • Ping a Bombardier on Dam Battlegrounds.
    • Ping a Bastion on Buried City.
  • Deliver three industrial batteries to the Nomadic Envoy.

Where to find the Atrium sculpture on Stella Montis

Pack a camera for your trip to Stella Montis. Look for the Atrium in the southern part of the upper level, beside Communications and Cultural Archives.

The huge sculpture stands in the center of the Atrium. Photograph it to finish this objective.

Where to find a Baron Husk on Spaceport

You have two possible photo subjects on Spaceport. Either Baron Husk counts, so you only need to visit one of these spots:

  • Between Fuel Depot and the West Container Yard, in the map’s northwest section.
  • Against the wall around the main facility, directly west of Vehicle Maintenance.

For the following ping task, James favors finding a Bastion on Buried City rather than a Bombardier on Dam Battlegrounds. His reasoning: Buried City is the smaller map, and several Bastions often patrol Marano Park, the top of the Parking Garage, and Piazza Arbusto.

Where to find industrial batteries in Arc Raiders

James considers Dam Battlegrounds the best map for industrial batteries based on his experience, specifically recommending the Hydroponic Dome Complex and Controlled Access Zone. Work through every lootable container at both locations; he says continued searching will eventually yield enough batteries.

While searching Controlled Access Zone, find the battery used to unlock the control-room door. According to James, the room holds the best loot in that area.

If those searches aren’t paying off, industrial batteries can theoretically appear anywhere labeled as having industrial loot. James cautions that the Arc Raiders loot table doesn’t work quite that simply, though, so he still recommends the two locations above as your best bet.

With all three batteries collected, head back to the Nomadic Envoy in Speranza. Delivering them earns you 8,000 XP, two jolt mines, and one advanced electrical component.
