How To Uninstall Window 7 SP1

If you want to uninstall windows 7 SP1 then there are different methods to do so. Remember we told you to have a system restore point before installing windows 7 sp1. Same guide applies to uninstall windows server 2008 R2 SP1 beta. There are three different method to uninstall windows 7 sp1 and windows server 2008.

Uninstall windows 7 sp1 using control panel

Step 1: Go to Start->Control Panel->Programs->Programs and Features->View installed updates

Step 2: Look for Service Pack For Microsoft Windows (KB 976932)

Step 3: Uninstall the given package and restart the system.

Step 1: Go to Start->Control Panel->System and Security->Backup and Restore

Step 2: Click on Restore my Files and look for the date when you installed windows 7 sp1. It will be labeled as Windows Update or something similar

Step 3: Restore the settings by clicking finish.

Uninstall windows 7 SP1 beta using command prompt

Step 1: Click Start->Run

Step 2: Type “cmd “ and click enter button

Step 3: In command prompt type the following command

wusa.exe /uninstall /kb:976932
