More windows 8 details are emerging. Microsoft is seriously considering fast booting speed and design as one of the most concerned area. Previously we provided the information that Microsoft is going on Apple’s way by making the look simpler and more user friendly. Microsoft is also planning to come up with “Windows store” or so called “Windows 8 apps store” from where developers and users can directly interact with each other and buy/sell the product much like Apple’s iTunes.
Few more leaked documents provides the information on general optimization like “Instant on” to make the windows 8 booting faster. Apart from that Microsoft is also planning to integrate next generation technology like “USB 3.0” and “Bluetooth 3.0” with windows 8.
Features of Windows 8
Instant on: Instant on boot functionality. Concentrate on POST functionality and make booting as much fast as possible. Focus more on POST, S3 resume performance. It will provide fast booting speed of windows 8 system.
Advanced display and graphics: Ambient light detection will change the display according to the brightness. Concentrate more on Graphics and 3D TVs.
Facial recognition: Facial recognition will be implemented and you will be logged in according to your face. Your face will act as password by default.
Windows 8 documents also hints for general optimization to make it more easy for general user for use. Microsoft is also working on hard drive encryption for windows 8.

It’s good to see microsoft’s thinking. Hope these features reaaly come in windows 8.
Till then windows 7 is the best i think (atleast for me)
