The selection criteria is based on the talent of the candidate. If the candidate is experienced or talented he will be given a chance. Even a newbie can join the program. I have few friends with me with whom I will be discussing about the application.

if you are serious about your blogging you will need to open the wallet. here in the us about $120/year will take care of what you need ($10 for domain, $110 for reliable hosting which allows over 2K uniques/day).
i use wordpress for a few sites and host privately other sites.

It is easy to buy domain and hosting. Our intention is to help few people who doesn’t have money or paypal account to buy the domain.

I understand your concern. We currently monitor all the blogs. It doesn’t mean we own it. In true sense you are the owner of the blog. Whatever you earn from it will be yours only. We don’t ask for a single penny. Bloggers blog for themselves not for us. You can read the Program policies to understand the things clearly. Let me know if you still have any doubt.
