Yesterday I was surfing the cnet website tutorial on windows 7 and windows vista godmode and I’m amazed to see the hidden power of this Godmodes.
What is “godmode” in widows vista or windows 7 operating system?
Godmode is the hidden capability of windows administrative tools that yet to be explored. Godmode lets you access all the operating systems control panel and features from the single folder. I’m yet to understand it properly. But this godmode can be an alternative to the famous windows registry hack methods.
In the registry hacks you need to understand the string and its values and functions properly to enhance the capability of your operating system.
One can easily create “godmode” folder by renaming or creating an empty folder. Godmode doesn’t mean that you need to create a folder with the same name. It is just a name given for the convention. Check out the screenshot where I have created a godmode folder in my movies folder.
The godmode folder is basically a control panel where you create your own custom control panel. From the control panel you will be having all the system features and various options to change the system settings. It is highly recommended that you shouldn’t be using it without knowing it properly.
Here is the command to create a godmode folder
GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}
There are many more such commands. To check the list of available godmode command I suggest you to check this article from CNET . This is the screen shot of my windows vista operating system. It works well with my widows vista home premium system.
How to create “godmode” folder in windows vista and windows 7 system?
I just navigate to any folder.
Right click and select “New”->”Folder” option and rename it to above given code.
That’s it. You will be able to see a “control panel” like symbol. Double click on it and you will be welcomed with all your system settings.
