		<description>I noticed that OSX moves the file on the USB drive to a hidden folder called &quot;.Trashes&quot; and won&#039;t get rid of it until you empty the trash. I usually get annoyed and go to the command shell prompt and change directory to the directory usually called /Volumes/NO Name/ and use the command rm -rf ./.Trashes to get rid of the files.

Although yes I do need to format or encrypt your flash drive for the files to be permanently erased rather then location data being deleted.
