by Ricky on December 6, 2009

Security is a very essential part of any application. We can easily install the antivirus with latest updates but does it mean that we can stop worrying about the security? My answer is emphatic no, We surf the Internet through the browser and we need to make them secure as well.

Key-logger is a small utility (hardware or software)  that remember the keystroke from the keyboard. Sometimes the key loggers can be installed on your computer without your acknowledgment. A keylogger or keystroke logger program does not need access your computer physically. There are every reason to believe that keylogger might be installed in the cyber cafe either to monitors the users activity or due to virus attack. Let us keep the detail about the functionality of the key-logger aside.

Wow, I’m definitely gonna install this plugin in my office computer. Maybe I’m just paranoid but everytime the browser slows down a bit and the windows don’t keep up with my typing, I suspect that someone has installed a keylogger in my station. This should give me some degree of peace of mind.
