Few days back I have mentioned about the “10 Most Popular Google chrome plugin/extensions for twitter users“. If you are like me who have installed many plugins in curiosity then you must have noticed the change in loading speed of the Google chrome browser. Experimenting too many plugins can cause a lot of problem like it slows down your browser considerably plus it takes hell lot of time at start up or the plugin fails to work at all. I searched at few places to find out the solution but couldn’t find out the way to uninstall the plugin.
Uninstall Google Chrome Extension
Below is the way to easily uninstall the plugins from your Google Chromes browser.
- Open the Google chrome browser.
- Click on address bar.
- Enter “chrome://extensions/” in your browser and hit enter (without double quote).
- It will display you the list of plugins installed.
- On the right hand side click on the appropriate option i.e. “Disable” or “Uninstall” to disable or uninstall the plugin/extension.
That’s it. Restart the browser and check back again the list of installed extension by typing the above URL in the address bar. It is very easy to uninstall the extensions in Google chrome provided you know how to access the plugin list. Hope it solves your problem.
