I didnt mean to say that all the links of twitter are malicious links. Head over to cnet to check the image provided by kaspersky. Most of the links contains trojans.

Well all social networking websites are attacked by spammers. They are the best source to fool people. I hope twitter and face book will tighten their security asap.

I refrain from clicking links in Twitter unless it’s from someone I follow and trust.

the problem with twitter is that we can’t see the actual links, and hence we cannot tell if its a spam site or scam site before we actually have opened the website…

There are few services that lets you preview the links. I prefer FF add-on. BTW thank you for visiting my site. Hope to see you around

Most of the spam comes through fake profiles.Twitter should build a system to stop this.
