Firefox 3.6 Beta1 Ready For Download

Recently mozilla Firefox developers has announced the latest release of firefox 3.6 beta version 1. The latest beta version of Firefox is based on the Gecko 1.9.2 rendering engine, which is useful for many web developers, add-on developers ad users. It is a good time for all developers to try their hand on the latest version of firefox.

Some of the features included in firefox 3.6 beta 1

  • You can change the browser’s appearance with single click with built in support for personas. Personas let you choose the design for your web browsers according to the need.
  • Alerts automatically to the users about the out dated plugins to keep them safe.
  • Firefox has been working a lot on faster start up and execution of javascripts. The new version improves Javascript performance and overall responsivness of the browser.
  • Improved support for CSS, DOM and HTML 5 web technologies which will bring joy on the web developers face.

Inbuilt support for Personas is a great development. Stil I look forward to the dynamic loading of extensions

Inbuilt support for personas is a good feature. Apart from that the support of various text style is also a good feature.

Firfox is an excellent browser to rely on while surfing. I’ve tried most of the common browsers (IE/Opera/Google Chrome) and nothing is like it. Before FF, in the past I used ‘Netscape’ which was awesome indeed.

Man the site looks killer with the new look great job and the header is reaaaallly nice as well.

I have yet to download the new Beta version Im afraid it won’t be able to handle some of my important add-ons.

Thank you for liking the theme. Hope to see the killer wordpress theme on your blog soon :smile: . Many of the add-ons are not compatible with the new version. it is good to not upgrade the browser yet.

Time to try the beta out :D I was trying the 3.7 Alpha, it was pretty cool but I guess I’ll install the 3.6B1 on my other computer
