Webmaster Online Color Combination Chooser Tools

by Ricky on August 9, 2009

In my last post I discussed about “All in one webmaster 75+ online tools” that can help a webmaster to check the details of the websites. In case if you have missed it then you can check it from by clicking the above link.

Recently, I installed “Atahualpa” theme which allows more than 200 customization to be done on the theme and the best part is that the theme is absolutely free. Later I decided to put some cool colors on the website but it was a real tough task for me (now I understood that it is really tough to design a good website). So I Googled for different online color combination tools and found few great online tools that can really help a webmaster to decide the color combination for his design.

It is not in any particular order:

Colorschemer: Colorschemer is one of the best tools to find the latest color combination. They offer a variety of color combination that suits your need.

Colormixer: One more cool website where you can generate the colors using different color combination. There are three sliders (Red, Green, Blue) and according to the postion of the slider it will create a color combination for you. I really this site particularly, if you are looking for some new and awesome color combination then this website is a must visit for you.

Colourlovers: This offers a latest pallets and patterns to decide the color combination. It has a good collection of patterns. Apart from that you can also create your own pallets, patterns and  colors.

Colr: This is somewhat different from above three. Here you will find a real cool color combination which is already there. I recommend you to use “pixie” while using this website. They also shows a pictures and from their you can fetch the colors. Apart from that you can also fetch the colors from different websites. All you need to do is to type the website name and wait the colors to load. color

Colorcombos: Well the name suggests all. It offers latest color combinations to use from. They also offers “combo tester” and “combo library” where you can get almost any color combination.

To design a good website and decide a good color combination requires a good skill (extra ordinary skill) but this online tools has made the job really easy.

Which website do you like the most? Well my favorite is “Colr” as I can fetch the colors from famous websites and pictures.

If you have such website(s) in mind then feel free to share your knowledge here.

A combination of color is a must for a blog. I don’t know if I have the right to change some color with the Ultimate Blogging theme from Carl Ocab, otherwise, I would certainly make some change on the theme to make it looks more attractive.

Yes the color combination says how serious you are as a blogger. I guess you can change the color of your theme. Theme designer won’t mind changes as long as you are not removing their links. All they need is credit given to them, which is quite fair. BTW thank you for stopping by.

I guess the best offline tool to find hex code is ‘pixie’. But sometime you won’t get much idea about color combinations, for that you must go for online tools. I guess this tools will come in handy especially if someone is noob at color combination. BTW thank you for commenting here.
